Horseback Riding

Blue Sky Ranch has the most diverse set of trails in the greater Park City area devoted to horseback riding. Blue Sky Ranch now encompasses over 3,300 acres, it's easy see why our guest's experience a "sense of solitude" that can only come at Blue Sky.

Experience the ranch as a true cowboy or cowgirl on one of our sure-footed trail horses. Ride times range from one to four hours. Children must be at least 8 years old.

 

Our Horseback Adventures:


Pony Express
(approx. 1 hr.) *$70.00 per person : Made famous by the brave riders of Pony Express, come join Blue Sky on a express ride of amazing scenery up Alexander Creek. The real Pony Express crossed Utah only 15 miles to our north!

Overland Stage
(approx. 2 hrs.) *$85.00 per person, "Take the Road Less Traveled" by "Roughing It" a bit! Made famous by Mark Twain (aka. Samuel Clemens). Come re-trace his stagecoach and footsteps by joining us on a 2-hour epic ride that will bring you back for more...

**As of October 1, we opreate daily Tuesday through Saturday daily by reservation only. You have to arrive minimum 1/2 hour before any scheduled departure time. *Off-Season & Winter pricing is in effect as of October 1, 2012

Old Lincoln Half-Day Ride 
See the most of our amazing ranch on our(approx. 3-4 hours) half-day tour that starts at 10am and ends at approx. at approx. 1:30 pm. Includes sack/box lunch $145.00 per person. (not recommended for children under 16 yrs. of age)

Cabin Retreat
(approx. 2.5hrs.) $125.00 per person, includes sack lunch, The Cabin Retreat is adventure like no other. It combines a 2 hour ride and lunch at our historic cabin in the mountains. Orginally moved the from the town of Wanship, Utah. This old cabin is now a rustic tavern and it resides on beautiful high mountain meadow on the ranch with amazing 360 degree views of the mountains of Unitas and our ranch.

Sunrise Ride
(approx. 3-4hrs.) $145.00 (includes coffee & snack) Departs 1/2 hour before sunrise. The true cowboy will tell you this best part of the day to see the big bucks and amazing wildlife of the ranch. The rustling of the aspens as thye day comes alive are small part of the joys of this ride. See the ranch in unique morning light!

Raft & Reins

Reels and Reins
(2-3 hour fish and 2 hour ride, includes lunch) $225.00 **please see direct link in Multi-Sport Adventures for more info
 

 **From October 1, 2012 to May 31, 2013 we currently offer adventures on Tuesday through Saturday.

**All riders must sign a waiver of liability and equine rider to participate in horseback riding. All riders must have long pants, shirt and closed toe shoes or boots. Sunscreen, hats and sunglasses are recommended. We reserve the right to deny service to anyone for any reason. Minimum age is 8 years of age. No double riding. All persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by adult (18 years or older) or legal guardian. Anyone under the of 18, must wear a helmet.

**All horseback riding reservations are paid upfront by credit card at the time of reservation. We have strict 48-hour cancellation policy. We accept all major forms credit cards. Gratuity will added in automatically at 20% for all reservations.
